Out in the Open: Discussing the Challenging Dynamics of Motherhood
A seven-session discussion-group course in which participants could examine the family issues, societal pressures and expectations that can adversely impact the experience of motherhood.
Subjects included managing competing roles, pressure to be perfect, maternal ambivalence and decisions about work.

The Authentic Mom’s Sherri Muroff Kalt led a “Candid Conversation About Motherhood” at Westchester Community College. Participants discussed a wide range of personal, family and societal dynamics impacting today’s mothers.
- November 6, 2007 and November 8, 2007
The Authentic Mom's Sherri Muroff Kalt presented at the YWCA of White Plains and Central Westchester to Twice the Fun, mothers of children ages 24 to 36 months, and Little Explorers, mothers of children ages 16 to 24 months. Presentations explored the personal and family issues and societal pressures and expectations that can make the experience of motherhood so stressful.
